Dammar Varnish Glossy 24280081
Purpose: Traditional final varnish. Gives paintings a uniform gloss and protection
Composition: Dammar resin, turpentine
Qualities:
- Final varnish. Dries in a few hours
- May show signs of ageing after some time such as yellowing and craquelures
- Gives a high gloss
- Inhibits the ageing process of lower layers of oil colours
- Removable with mild solvents and can be thinned with turpentine
- Apply when paint film has completely dried (6 to 12 months depending on the paint film thickness)
- The gloss can be adjusted by mixing with Dammar Varnish Mat 082
