    Product Description

    The final stage of the filtering process in all SIMAIR machines is a high grade activated charcoal impregnated polyester fibre. Activated charcoal has long been recognised as an exceptionallt absorbent material, retaining vapours and gases within its micro-porous structure.
    The grading for activated charcoal is determined by the internal surface area per gram of charcoal. SIMAIR filters have 900m Square/gram. Production control allows a minimum of 561m Square/gram of polyester fibre.
