Rectified Turpentine 24280032
Purpose: Reducing the consistency of oil colour and cleaning materials
Composition: Turpentine-oil (distillate from resinous balsam of the pine tree)
Qualities:
- Thinner for oil colours, mediums and varnishes for oil colours
- Thins the paint (only for use in first coats)
- Brush-stroke runs
- Risk of resin development, particularly when exposed to light and high temperatures
- Can also be used for cleaning materials
- Suitable for removing varnish coats
