Acrylic Varnish Mat 24280115
Purpose: Final varnish. Gives paintings a uniform eggshell gloss and protection. Suitable for both oil and acrylic colours.
Composition: Acrylate resin, white spirit, matting agents (silicas)
Qualities:
- Non-yellowing final varnish. Dries in a few hours
- More flexible than Picture Varnish Mat
- Gives an eggshell gloss, gives a more mat effect than Picture Varnish Mat
- Inhibits the ageing process of oil colours
- Removable with mild solvents
- Can be thinned with white spirit or turpentine
- For oil colours: apply when paint film has completely dried (6 to 12 months depending on the paint film thickness)
- The gloss can be adjusted by mixing with Acrylic Varnish Glossy 114
